Overview
This action packed adventure starts immediately as you board off your plane in Tanzania. It will then take you to One of the biggest conservation areas the Ngorongoro crater then to Serengeti National park to witness the greatest wildebeest migration where you will witness many wild fauna after enjoying the gem in Lake manyara park. The mighty trip will end with a departure flight to the agreed drop off point.
DAY 1: Arrival.
upon arriving in Tanzania, the first day is often filled with excitement as travelers take in the new sights, sounds, and culture of the country. rest and acclimate to the local time before embarking on any planned activities. Also take this opportunity to prepare for any upcoming safari or trekking excursions by purchasing necessary gear or supplies.
DAY 2: Lake Manyara national park.
On Day 2, you will be picked up at 8am for a full-day game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, known for its lush acacia forest, diverse wildlife, and stunning scenery. The park is home to baboons, blue monkeys, giraffes, elephants, impalas, buffaloes, hippos, tree-climbing lions, flamingos and unique birds like the Ground Hornbill and Crested Eagle. Additional tours like bike or boat excursion may be available. The game drives along the lake provide excellent photo opportunities. You will be transferred to the camp for dinner in the afternoon.
DAY 3:Ngorongoro crater
On this day, we will embark on an early morning transfer from Manyara to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, to explore the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, known as one of the Natural World’s wonders. We will descend into the crater floor for a thrilling morning of wildlife viewing, followed by a picnic lunch near Hippo Lake. After lunch, we will have another game drive before ascending the crater and transferring to the accommodation. The Ngorongoro Crater is known for its diverse wildlife including the rare Black Rhino and is considered one of the best places in Africa to see a concentration of animals. The Crater covers 102 sq. miles, with walls that are 2,000 ft high, it has a river, swamps, soda lake, forest and open plains. It is also famous for its large tusked elephants, thanks to the rich mineral content of the volcanic soil and its grasses.
DAY 4:Serengeti national park (central).
On this day, you will depart early for a scenic drive to the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. Along the way, you will make a stop at the rim of Ngorongoro Crater for a breathtaking view of the crater. The drive into the Serengeti will showcase the park’s vast 6,900 sq. miles (18,000 sq. km) of endless plains and is home to the Great Migration of 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras and various antelopes. The park is also renowned for its big cats, with plenty of opportunities to spot lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, and famous river crossing scenes. In addition to the big game, the park also has a diverse array of smaller animals and over 500 bird species.
DAY 5: Serengeti national park (central)
On Day 5, you will spend a full day in the central area of the Serengeti National Park. Your guide will work with you to create a schedule that aligns with your preferences, including game drive timings and wake-up time. You can choose to do a morning game drive, return to camp for lunch and relaxation, and finish with an afternoon game drive, or opt for a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch.
DAY 6: Serengeti national park (following the great migration)
On this extraordinary day, you will set out to track the Great Migration in the vast Serengeti plains, visiting remote locations that vary depending on the season. These could include the remote Northern region near the Kenyan border, the Southern Ndutu area, or the Western part of the park.
DAY 7: Flying out of the serengeti
we recommend an early wake-up to experience an early morning game drive when the animals are most active and to witness one of the most beautiful sunrises. After the game drive, we will return to the camp for brunch before proceeding to the airstrip for your return flight to Arusha.
