South Africa Adventure Tour
Overview
Embark on a 5-day South African adventure visiting Cape Town, Cape Point, Sabi Sands Game Reserve, and Johannesburg. Start by exploring Cape Town’s cultural heritage and Table Mountain views. Visit Cape Point for its diverse wildlife and marine views, and the UNESCO World Heritage site, Cape of Good Hope. Take a tour of Sabi Sands for a chance to see the Big 5 and experience the local culture. End in Johannesburg with a city tour and relaxation before returning home.
DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN CAPE TOWN
Upon arriving in Cape Town, also known as the “Mother City,” check into your hotel and head out for a city tour. Take in the sights of the Atlantic coastline, including its sparkling beaches and natural scenery. Enjoy a delicious lunch and then embark on a sunset Coastal Catamaran cruise to see the city and Table Mountain from the perspective of ancient mariners. Spend the night at the hotel.
DAY 2: EXPLORING CAPE POINT.
After breakfast, take a scenic drive to Cape Point, known for its marine views and diverse wildlife, including mongooses, baboons, and various reptiles. Hike or bike through the area and visit the UNESCO World Heritage site, Cape of Good Hope. Afterwards, check out of the hotel and transfer to Sabi Sands Game Reserve.
DAY 3: BUSH WALKS IN SABI SANDS
Check into your lodge in Sabi Sands Game Reserve, known for its frequent sightings of the Big 5. Set out on a personalized bush walk to fully immerse yourself in the natural surroundings and engage all your senses. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
DAY 4: GAME DRIVE AND CULTURAL TOURS
Begin the day with an early morning game drive in search of leopards and other wildlife. Take a lunch break in the reserve and then embark on a cultural tour to learn more about the area’s history and heritage. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
DAY 5: ARRIVAL IN JOHANNESBURG
After breakfast in Sabi Sands, fly to Johannesburg and take a city tour. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure, relaxing and exploring at your own pace. Stay overnight at the hotel. On the next day, head to your final destination, ending the trip.
