Start of the trip; transfer to Fort Portal
The journey begins on this day with the transfer to Fort Portal. Depending on your location; Kampala or Entebbe, our professional guide will pick you up and head for the west.
Along the journey, you will have a lunch stop over and a photo moment at Kayabwe Equator station. You can also buy a few souvenirs to remember your trip.
Reaching Fort Portal in the late afternoon, you will enjoy visiting the Tooro Kingdom Palace. After, you will get to your destination in the tranquility of Lake Nkuruba Nature Reserve.
You will have a night’s stay at the lodge and a rest after dinner.
Semliki nature walk and Hotsprings
Early in the morning, you will have your breakfast at the restaurant and then embark on the adventure journey to Semliki National Park.
The journey to Semliki is very tempting for photography with the undulating terraced hills of Bundibugyo.
You will enjoy sights of several butterflies species displayed at the parks entrance. Then you will get on the nature walk trail to the hot springs. The lush green vegetation makes the trail good for photography.
At the hot springs, you can sample boiling the eggs in the boiling water of this geothermal feature.
After lunch, you will enjoy the visit to the renowned Amabere ga Nyina Mwiru caves. Enjoy the waterfalls or even swim in the plunge pool.
You will unwind the day with another night’s stay at Lake Nkuruba Nature Reserve.
Final day: Top of the world walk and fishing
After breakfast at the restaurant, you will head for the famous Top of the World nature walk. Enjoy hiking one of the foothills of Rwenzori mountain. The hilltop offers a fantastic view of the Rwenzori mountain and the lowlands.
Along the way, you can enjoy buying fruits from the children of the surrounding communities.
After, you will head back for lunch and if time allows, you will also enjoy a boat cruise at Lake Nkuruba. this marks the final adventures of your romantic getaway. Take time to enjoy photography, and after check out.
Say your farewells and then embark on the return journey to Kampala.
