Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe.
Your thrilling 10-day Ugandan safari begins with your arrival at Entebbe International Airport. You’ll be warmly greeted by your experienced local guide who will introduce you to Uganda’s diverse culture. After a comfortable transfer to your accommodation, take some time to rest and prepare for the adventure ahead.
Day 2: travel to Murchison fall national park.
From your hotel, you will be picked up by our tour guide and embark on the journey to Murchison Falls National Park via Masindi Road. You will have a stopover for lunch at Masindi and continue to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where you will enjoy sighting the rhinos in their natural habitats. Reaching Murchison Falls National Park in the evening you will check in to your lodge and have dinner and a night’s rest there.
Day 3: Murchison Falls game drive, falls hiking, and sundowner boat cruise.
On the third day, you will embark on early morning game drives, where you’ll spot majestic African elephants, graceful giraffes, imposing lions, and countless other species in their natural habitat. You will have your packed breakfast on the safari.
After the game drive, you will head to the famous Murchison Falls where you will enjoy the top of the falls hike; a breathtakingly out-of-this-world experience filled with thrill and marvel of the forces the water exerts on the fissures which make a misty atmosphere, sublimated with the tweets of the birds, the sound of the wild will never leave your memory.
In the afternoon, you will head back to the lodge, have lunch and Your authentic African experience continues with a boat safari along the Nile River, where hippos, Nile crocodiles, and a kaleidoscope of birdlife will captivate your senses. The sundowner boat cruise is so sentimental with the cool breeze from the forests around, the tweets of the birds, and flashes of the sun rays on the water, make the boat cruise so emotional. You will head back to the lodge for the night’s rest.
Day 4 transfer to Kibale National Park:
The safari will continue with the early morning drive to Kibale National Park, it is a 400km journey southwards via the Albertine escarpment to Fortportal which is a springboard to Kibale National Park. It is a 7-8 hours drive from Murchison Falls National Park to Kibale National Park and en route at Fort Portal for lunch. You will also have stopovers for photography moments, thus reaching in the evening at the lodge in Kibale National Park where you will have your evening refreshment and a night’s rest.
Day 5: chimpanzee trekking:
Next on your adventure list, is Kibale National Park, renowned as the “Primate Capital of the World.” you will engage in authentic chimpanzee tracking expeditions through the lush rainforest led by experienced guides. You will have a lifetime chance to observe these highly intelligent creatures in their natural habitat as they swing through the trees and communicate with each other. Kibale is also home to red colobus monkeys, grey-cheeked mangabeys, and a myriad of colorful bird species which you will observe in the forests along the tracking trails.
You will head back to the lodge for the lunch break and refreshment then Spend your evening time immersed in the local culture by enjoying traditional dances and storytelling sessions with the local communities during the bigodi swamp nature walks. You will have a night’s rest at the lodge and prepare for the next day’s adventure to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Day 6: Early morning transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park:
You will have an early morning breakfast at the lodge and check out, then embark on the drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The journey is a 3-hour drive which will also have you enjoying the Crater Lakes drive and the undulating foothills of mountain Rwenzori, beautiful terraces, and gorgeous valleys.
You will reach Queen Elizabeth National Park, check in to your lodge, and then have lunch at the lodge. After, you will enjoy the nature walk in Queen Elizabeth National Park, enjoy interacting with the communities nearby, and then head back to the lodge for refreshment, dinner, and the night’s rest.
Day 7: game drive, and boat cruise.
Early in the morning, you will enjoy the Queen Elizabeth National Park and Game Drive in the northern part, within a diverse ecosystem where savannah meets wetlands. Your authentic African experience continues with thrilling sightings where you’ll track down iconic African wildlife such as lions, leopards, buffaloes, and Uganda kob. You will head back to the lodge for the lunch break after the game drive.
In the afternoon, you will enjoy the boat at the Kazinga channel. Queen Elizabeth National Park is a birdwatcher’s paradise with over 600 species of birds. An unforgettable highlight of day seven in Queen Elizabeth National Park is the boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a waterway teeming with hippos, crocodiles, and a dazzling array of birdlife. You will have a night stay at the lodge as you unwind from the day’s adventure and get ready for the next thrill.
Day 8: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park via Ishasha sector.
Early in the morning, you will embark on the drive to the south of Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you will enjoy the extra thrill of a savannah game drive filled with the marvelous sights of the tree-climbing lions of Ishasha sector, south of Queen Elizabeth National Park.
You will continue to Bwindi impenetrable national park and check in to your lodge where you will have lunch and then have a rest at the lodge as you unwind from the long wildlife encounter in the savannah ready for the mountain gorilla thrill for the next day.
Day 9: Early morning gorilla trekking:
You will start with an early morning breakfast at the lodge and then be guided by the guide to the park’s head office for briefing before the actual gorilla trekking in the deep forests.
Your experienced guide will lead you on an exhilarating gorilla-tracking adventure through dense, untouched rainforest terrain. Witness these gentle giants in their natural habitat, an encounter that will leave you with profound memories. You will enjoy the gorilla encounter for a length of 1 hour, full of emotions as you get an up-close look at the magnificent silverback or the baby with their mothers.
Depending on the time spent on the gorilla trekking activity, you will either enjoy the nature walks in the park, then head to the lodge and have lunch. After lunch, you will embark on the journey to Lake Bunyonyi where you will check in to your lodge and have a refreshment, dinner, and rest.
Day 10: Enjoy an island tour and relaxation at Lake Bunyonyi and departure to Entebbe via the Equator.
After breakfast, move out of the hotel and begin your island tour which takes around 3hours and then return to the hotel. Check out and embark on your return journey to Entebbe Airport for your outbound flight. Don’t forget to make a stop at the Uganda Equator line mark to capture some memorable photos as a keepsake of your safari in the Pearl of Africa. Once you’ve taken your pictures, continue to Entebbe Airport, where your driver/guide will drop you off. We hope to welcome you back or any referrals in the future.
