In other words, the 3-day Murchison Falls experience trip offers you an opportunity to enjoy all that Murchison Falls National Park offers in just a glimpse of 3 days.
Murchison Falls National Park is a five-hour drive from Entebbe International Airport, meaning almost half a day’s drive for the first day. We will have an en route to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and a stop over for lunch and reach Murchison Falls in the evening ready for check-in and rest at the lodge of your choice.
The second day will start with the thrilling wildlife game drive in Murchison Falls National Park’s western part called Paara. The game drive allows you to see animals as they wake up from their caves and set on the day’s hunt; the sole animal routine. You will have breakfast after the game drive and head straight for the top of the falls hike; the most epic hiking adventure as it was the sole reason why Sir Winston Churchill named Uganda, “the pearl of Africa”.
The top of the falls hike offers you a chance to see monkeys, and birds and also experience the misty atmosphere created as the water surges through the fissures and the falls. Together with the sound made by the force of the water forcing a way through a narrow gorge, the top of the fall hike will give you priceless memories.
The third day is a day for traveling back to Kampala, however, you will enjoy the beautiful sceneries of the country roads like the undulating hills, forests, terrace farming, people, and communities along the road.
