Overview
The trip begins with a transfer from Ephesus to Pamukkale where a guided tour of the stunning “cotton castle” natural calcite deposits is given. After, there is an option for a swim and paragliding. Then, there’s an overnight journey to Cappadocia for a tour of South Cappadocia, visiting Uchisar Castle, Kaymakli Underground City, Meskendir Valley, and ending with a sunset ATV tour and traditional Turkish Night option. The next day covers North Cappadocia, visiting Monks Valley, Devrent Valley, Uchisar Castle, and Goreme Open Air Museum, ending with a hot air balloon ride over Cappadocia. The trip ends with an overnight bus back to Istanbul and a morning departure back home.
Day 1: Istanbul Welcome to Istanbul!
After landing at the airport, check into your designated accommodation. Spend the rest of the day exploring the city and relaxing in your cozy accommodations.
Day 2: Old City & Spice Bazaar Tour.
Enjoy a delicious Turkish breakfast, then embark on a tour of the Old City, visiting the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, and Hagia Sophia. Have lunch with locals, then visit the Grand Bazaar for shopping and end with a spice tour in the Spice Bazaar. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Bosphorus Cruise & Bus Tour.
Start the day with a transfer to Dolmabahce Palace for a tour, then board a Bosphorus Cruise for 2.5 hours, visiting the Kucuksu Palace on the Asian side. Take a bus tour around the city, stopping at Pierre Loti Hill, and ending in Sultan Ahmet. Return to hotel for another night in Istanbul.
Day 4: Transfer to Gallipoli.
Drive to Gallipoli for a guided tour of the battlefields and war memorials. Visit the museum and stay overnight near Gallipoli.
Day 5: Transfer to Troy & Pergamon
Visit Troy and see the Trojan Horse, Houses of Troy, and the Bouleuterion and Odeon. After lunch, continue to Pergamon and tour the Acropolis, Library, and Theater, and the Temple of Athena, Dionysus, and Trajan.
Day 6: Transfer from Ephesus to Pamukkale.
Visit the “cotton castle” of Pamukkale and explore the ancient city of Hierapolis. End the day with a paragliding activity.
Day 7: Arrival in Cappadocia (South).
Visit Uchisar Castle, Kaymakli Underground City, and Meskendir Valley. End the day with a sunset ATV tour and a traditional Turkish Night (optional).
Day 8: North Cappadocia Tour.
Visit Monks Valley, Devrent Valley, Avanos, Uchisar Castle, and Goreme Open Air Museum. End the day with a hot air balloon ride.
Day 9:Departure.
Return to Istanbul and depart.
