DAY 1:Travel to Lake Mburo National park
Depart towards Lake Mburo National Park, making a stopover at the Equator for a delightful break and photography. Later on continue to Hyena Hill Camp, settle in, and enjoy a delicious lunch. Take a 2-hour boat trip on Lake Mburo, followed by an exciting game drive to spot zebras, impalas, topis, giraffes, leopards, warthogs, and more fascinating wildlife and then return to the lodge for an overnight stay.
DAY 2: Guided Nature walks and departure to Queen Elizabeth national park
Wake up early and enjoy a cup of coffee before embarking on a thrilling 2.5-hour walking safari inside the national park in Rubanga forest. With a ranger guide for safety, get closer to the animals. Afterward, return to Hyena Hill for breakfast, check out, and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Check in at Kazinga Channel Wilderness Safari camp and in the early evening, go on a game drive to spot elephants, buffalos, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, lions, leopards, hyenas, and more.
DAY 3: Game drive and Boat cruise.
After an early morning breakfast, set off on a game drive across the Kasenyi plains. If time permits, visit the Salt Lake to witness local salt mining and explore a craft market. Return to your lodge for lunch, and in the afternoon, embark on a scenic boat trip along the 38-kilometer-long Kazinga Channel, connecting Lakes George and Edward. Keep an eye out for crocodiles, elephants, waterbucks, and an abundance of bird species during this memorable journey.
DAY 4: Kalinzu Forest Chimpanzee trekking and Departure
Enjoy breakfast in the morning, then drive to Kalinzu Forest for thrilling chimpanzee trekking. Discover the Basongora tribe’s traditional dances and customs. Visit Kyambura crater lake Afterwards, return to Kampala, stopping for lunch in Fort Portal along the way. Continue your journey and arrive in Kampala in the evening.
