3-DAY JINJA RAFTING ADVENTURE

Start your day with a pick-up upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport by our hospitable tour guide.

Later have a 2-hour drive stop over at Sezibwe Falls located along the Kampala Jinja route consisting of a myriad of attractions. Sezibwe is a place with a great history of the Buganda kingdom and authentic cultural exhibits like the traditional cave shrines and the Anglican Christian shrines.

Here you will have great scenery views, Bird watching, nature walks, rock climbing, swimming, picnicking, and animal watching.

After engaging in these amazing activities, you will have lunch at Sezibwe local restaurant and relax before embarking on the journey to Jinja which will take 1 and 30 minutes.

In the evening you will enjoy a sundowner boat ride at the Great River Nile which will take 1 to 2 hours.

During the boat ride you will have great views of bird species such as the kingfishers, cormorants, and fish eagles along the shores, you will also have stunning views of the sundowner among others.

After the boat cruise, you will transfer to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay in the tranquility of the nile water rythm.

After an early morning hearty English breakfast, there will be a briefing with the trained guide about white water rafting on the Nile. Get equipped with the short training and guidelines about water rafting to prepare you for a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience.

The rapids cover a 20km sketch of the river, surrounded by beautiful sceneries and bird sounds. Water rafting is done by the use of small paddle rafts filled with air in grades ranging from grade 1 to grade 5; at the end of each grade proceed to the next.

After the water rafting experience, you can engage in other optional activities like quad biking, bungee jumping, and horse riding among others.

When done with lunch, embark on a Jinja city tour, visiting the Busoga kingdom where you will learn about the history and culture of the Basoga people. Delve into the local community when you visit the local markets and city drive.

Explore the source of the Nile, the origin of the longest river in Africa. After head back to the lodge where you will have a sumptuous delicious dinner and another night’s stay.

On this day we will leave Jinja to Kampala after a relaxed breakfast, check out of the lodge, and meet up with the driver guide to transfer back to the airport.

Proceeding to Kampala you will have a stopover at  Mabira forest to engage in zip lining; an adventurous activity that takes about 4 hours.

Optional engaging in a guided forest walk where you will get an opportunity to view primate species colorful butterflies many tree species and many others.

You will proceed to Kampala and be transferred to Entebbe international airport for an outbound flight.
