Day 1: Arrive at Entebbe
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, our experienced guide will warmly welcome you to Uganda. You’ll be transferred to your comfortable accommodation, allowing you to rest and prepare for the incredible adventure ahead. You can opt for a city tour around Entebbe town or Kampala city, depending on your desire.
Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park:
The second day is the start of the African safari adventure which will begin with the travel to the northeastern part of Uganda where Murchison Falls National Park is located. The journeys will take approximately 4- 6 hours drive via Masindi road, where you will take en route to ziwa rhino sanctuary; a haven for the reintroduction of the rhinos in Uganda. You will have lunch in Masindi town from a restaurant that will serve you some of the continent’s delicacies prepared with love for all visitors.
You will reach Murchison Falls National Park in the evening and check in to your lodge with the stunning vistas of the surroundings. You will spend the night at the lodge, where you will also have your dinner and breakfast for the next day.
Day 3: Game drive, hiking, and boat cruise:
Early in the morning after breakfast, you will embark on an adventure where you will Enjoy an authentic game drive where you’ll encounter African elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, warthogs, and more. The game drive will lead you to Murchison Falls, where you will enjoy the thrill and marvel of the gigantic masses of water squeezing through a narrow gorge forming a spectacular atmosphere along the hiking trails.
In the afternoon, will head back to the lodge and have a well-prepared lunch selection from different cuisines. After, you will head back and enjoy A thrilling boat cruise along the Nile River to the bottom of Murchison Falls which is a highlight, showcasing hippos, Nile crocodiles, and abundant birdlife and the beauty of the plunge where the falls pour. You will head back to the lodge for refreshment, dinner, and a night’s rest, preparing for the next day’s adventure.
Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth;
You will have an early breakfast at the lodge and then embark on the journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park. the drive will take approximately 6 to 8 hours via Hoima to Kyenjojo Road. The beautiful sceneries on the country roads will make the distance shorter with marvels of the undulating hills, the thick rain forests, eucalyptus forests, terraces and misty valleys, and animals like monkeys and baboons along the way.
You will reach the Queen Elizabeth National Park in the evening, check in to your lodge, and enjoy the sights and sounds of the Wild West within one of the oldest national parks in Uganda and the second largest after Murchison Falls National Park you will enjoy a rest at your lodge, have dinner and a nights stay ready to unravel queen Elizabeth national parks adventure on the next day.
Day 5: Early morning game drive, and boat cruise.
Queen Elizabeth National is one of a kind with a unique array of ecosystems; where the savannah meets wetlands. You will enjoy early morning game drives to spot lions, leopards, buffaloes, and Uganda kob, among others. A morning game drive is an opportunity to see a lot of animals in the field ready for action of food hunting in the plains.
In the afternoon, you will head back to the lodge for lunch and also get ready for the boat cruise after. Then, you will enjoy a captivating boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, observing hippos, crocodiles, and birds. Witness wildlife at the water’s edge and capture sunset photos. Return to the lodge for dinner, reflecting on the day’s experiences and looking forward to upcoming adventures. Additionally, you can visit local communities to learn about their culture and way of life. You will have a night’s rest at the lodge and wait for the adventure of all time to Bwindi impenetrable national park.
Day 6: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After the morning breakfast, you will embark on the journey southwards to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, via the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park where you will marvel at the tree-climbing lions lounging in the big branches of the old acacia trees in the plains.
You will reach Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the afternoon and check in to your designated lodge, note; Prepare for an authentic and awe-inspiring experience as you enter Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. you will have time to rest in the tranquility of Bwindi Impenetrable forest as you reflect on the first phase of the 11-day safari in Uganda.
Day 7: Gorilla trekking expedition:
Early in the morning, you will have breakfast at the lodge, escorted by the guide to the park’s Headquarters for briefing before the actual thrill with the gorillas in their natural habitat. Here, you’ll embark on a life-changing gorilla trekking adventure, led by experienced guides. Witness the gentle giants in their natural habitat, an encounter that will leave an indelible mark on your soul.
After the gorilla experience, you will join the Batwa trails where you will Interact with the Batwa community to gain insight into their traditional lifestyle. Engage in dances and stories before returning to your lodge, cherishing memories of gorilla encounters and cultural immersion. You will have a rest back at the lodge, dinner, and a night stay.
Day 8: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi;
Embark on a scenic journey to the serene Lake Bunyonyi. Explore Lake Bunyonyi’s Tranquil Beauty with a visit to Lake Bunyonyi, often dubbed the “Switzerland of Africa.” Savor leisurely activities such as canoe rides, island exploration, or simply relaxing by the serene lake. The stunning landscapes and rich local culture will leave you rejuvenated.
After lunch, you will spend the day unwinding amidst the peaceful ambiance of the lodge, Indulge in the breathtaking views, take leisurely walks along the lake’s edge, or simply enjoy moments of relaxation. This day offers an opportunity to rejuvenate from the gorilla trekking expedition and reflect on your journey’s remarkable experiences.
Day 9 Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
Embark on a scenic journey to the serene Lake Mburo National Park, celebrated for its biodiversity and scenic charm. The journey will be approximately 6 hours which will have you enjoying the sceneries of the Rift Valley escarpments, forested areas, wildlife along the way, cattle ranches, communities, and roadside markets among others. You will take an en route to Igongo Cultural Center for a lunch break in the tranquil ambiance of the facility.
Reaching in the afternoon, you will Participate in invigorating guided nature walks that uncover the park’s hidden treasures. Traverse diverse landscapes, spotting wildlife like zebras, impalas, and elands in savannahs and acacia woodlands. These walks provide a unique chance to connect with nature intimately and observe the park’s intricate ecosystems. As the sun sets, return to your lodging and enjoy the serene park surroundings.
Day 10: game drive and boat cruise:
After the morning breakfast at the lodge, you will Commence your day with an early game drive as the sun rises over Lake Mburo National Park. Traverse picturesque landscapes, spotting diverse wildlife in their natural habitat. Observe zebras, buffalo, leopards, and more beginning their day and setting on to food hunting, the animals’ daily routine. Capture the savannah’s beauty in the gentle morning light. You will head back to the lodge and have lunch then get ready for the sundowner boat cruise on Lake Mburo.
Later in the afternoon, after the lunch break, you will indulge in a relaxed afternoon boat cruise on Lake Mburo, observing tranquil waters reflecting the surrounding greenery, and encountering hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species. Day 11: Return to Entebbe and Departure:
Your 11-day adventure concludes as you transfer back to Entebbe for your departure flight via Mbarara Masaka Road. Early in the morning you will check out from the lodge and Proceed to Kampala and then Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight, carrying memories of diverse landscapes, wildlife encounters, and cultural richness. Reflect on your adventures and connections with nature and local communities. Although your journey ends, the stories and experiences will forever reside in your heart.
