DETAILED ITINERARY.
Day 1: Airport pickup and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
Depending on the time of your arrival in Uganda at Entebbe International Airport. You will be picked up from the airport by our guide, in Tahfeez 4X4 branded tour vehicle. Helped by our guide, check in to your booked hotel in Entebbe Traveler’s Inn for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Drive to Lake Mburo National Park.
In the morning after breakfast, you will drive to Lake Mburo National Park. Arrive in the afternoon check in to the hotel then later have a boat ride on Lake Mburo. The ride will give you the best view of waterbirds like the African fish eagles, shoebill stork, pied kingfisher, African finfoot, and many more. Have time for relaxation and overnight at your hotel.

Day 3: Nature walk bird watching.
Spend your day in search for bird species with the park ranger. This walk offers opportunities to see various bird species including the African Finfoot, Papyrus Yellow Warbler, and Brown-chested Lapwing.
In the afternoon you will explore different trails where you can spot woodland birds, savannah species and waterbirds where you will look out for species like the Red-faced Barbet, Rufous-bellied Heron, and Bateleur Eagle. You will be later escorted back to your accommodation where you will have a sumptuous dinner and night rest.

Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi.
In the morning right after breakfast, you will drive to Bwindi. The drive takes 6 hours arriving in the afternoon. Watch out for some resident birds in the area. You will have dinner and time to relax at your hotel.

Day 5: Gorilla tracking.
In the morning after breakfast at your lodge.Head to the park headquarters for a briefing about gorilla tracking. This covers the rules for interacting with gorillas and what to expect during your trek.
Begin your adventure in the dense rainforest of Bwindi, the duration of the trek can vary greatly, from a few hours to a full day depending on the gorilla family’s location.
During this trek, keep an eye out for various bird species and the park ranger will be aware and informative of different bird species. You will be allowed to stay with gorillas for 1 hour fooling them around and then later return to your hotel.

Day 6: Full-day bird watching in Bwindi.
Early breakfast at your lodge. Prepare for a full day of bird-watching with packed lunches. Ensure you have all necessary gear including binoculars, a bird guidebook, and comfortable walking shoes. You will meet your expert birding guide who will lead you through various trails in the Bwindi forest. Bwindi is known for its exceptional biodiversity and is home to numerous bird species, including the African Green Broadbill, Chapin’s flycatcher, and the Shelley’s crimsonwing and also explores different habitats within the forest, such as montane and bamboo forests. Enjoy your packed lunch in a designated area in the forest, surrounded by the natural beauty and sounds of the forest.
Continue bird watching in the afternoon, focusing on different areas and looking for species you may have missed in the morning. In the late afternoon head back to your lodge for dinner and the opportunity to discuss your sightings with your guide or fellow bird watchers

Day 7: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth Ishasha sector.
Early breakfast at your lodge then drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park to go birding watching. You will arrive in 4 hours -time the afternoon head for a game drive and also bird watching near the Ishasha sector where you will watch out for tree-climbing lions and other wildlife. Overnight and dinner at your hotel.

Day 8: Bird watching /Boat cruise.
Early breakfast before sunrise, you will go for a game drive in the park. Watch out for lions, hyenas and so much more and plenty of birds in the Kasenyi area in Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Later in the afternoon, you will go for a boat cruise along the Kazinga channel, an area known for having a high concentration of bird species such as pelicans, African white-backed vultures, grey-crowned cranes, martial eagle, black-headed gonolek, widowbirds,zitting cisticola, African pigeon, pied kingfisher, African fish eagle and many. Overnight and dinner at your hotel.

Day 9: Transfer to Kibale National Park.
In the morning right after breakfast, you will drive to transfer to kibale National Park. Kibale National Park offers a unique birding experience, combining a rich avian diversity with sightings of various forest primates. The nature walk and bird watching in this lush tropical forest will provide an unforgettable experience of Uganda’s natural beauty. Go to Bigodi wetlands and watch out for birds like shoebill stork, pelican, yellow-billed stork, grey crowned crane, flycatcher, black bishop, spotted Barrett, blue breasted kingfisher, little greenbul, black-headed gonolek and so much more. Overnight and dinner at Kibale forest camp.
Day 10: Bird watching Kanyanchu area /Chimpanzee tracking.
In the morning right after breakfast, you will drive to the Kanyanchu area to go search for birds like Blue shouldered Robin-chat, sabine’s spinetail,narrow-tailed starling,narina trogon green-breasted pitta and so much more. Kibale National Park is known. You can also watch primates such as baboons, monkeys, red colobus, black and white colobus, and much more. In the afternoon you will go for chimpanzee tracking. Overnight and dinner at your accommodation.
Day 11: Drive to Murchison Falls.
Depart from the hotel at 6 am to drive to Murchison Falls National Park. this will be a long drive and packed food will be provided. Overnight at Paraa Lodge.
Day 12: Game drive bird watching /Boat cruise.
In the morning before sunrise, you will go for a ame drive on the northern bank of the river Nile. You will watch out for wildlife such as elephants, giraffes, buffalos, and so much more, and also don’t miss out on birds in the area. Later you will go for a boat cruise along the Victoria Nile to the bottom of the falls which are filled with plenty of birds and spot birds like a flycatcher, francolins, woodpeckers, and shoebill storks which are commonly spotted in murchison January and March.
Day 13: Transfer to Kampala. Stop at Rhino Sanctuary.
In the morning after breakfast, you will drive to transfer back to Kampala. On the way back you will visit the Rhino sanctuary then later head to Kampala. Proceed to arrive in Entebbe in the late afternoon hours. Overnight and dinner at your hotel.

Day 14: Mabamba wetland bird watching /departure.
You will spend half a day bird watching at Mabamba wetland. This special place is home to nearly 190,000 birds on average. It is a vital part of the wetland system that houses around 38% of the world’s Blue Swallow population, along with other birds of global conservation concern like the endangered Papyrus Yellow Warbler.
